Translation edit
I'm presently working on the Natori translation, which is almost done thanks to Jaredmellis. When I am finished cleanup I will start working on translating and adding to Miyagi. Would appreciate some thoughts from WikiProject Japan at some point on the relative importance of these articles, not that I am likely to change my course of action... I am working with what I know/can easily find out about, not with what is considered vital to a group project :) --Erk 23:07, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid edit
I've long been told that Mr. Miyagi was named after this prefecture but I can't find a good source (my last edit got reverted instantly, so I'm assuming it must be false). Is there any information about this one way or the other? I think the article should (if one can find a source) either confirm or debunk this claim. 72.72.202.49 (talk) 12:27, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
