Dec 2010: Most reference links have disappeared. Certain end dates, when Crete gets incinerated or tumbled by earthquake, are exact: End of EM IIA 2345, End of EM IIB 2287, End of MM IIB 1750, End of LM IA 1628, End of LM 1B 1536, End of LM II 1447.

End of EMIIIA occurred in 2093 when Baltic refugees arrived to repopulate the empty island. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stuhar (talkcontribs) 00:42, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

One quick version of Minoan chronology edit

That is just plain weird English. I get that this page was mostly written by Greeks, eager to claim Minoan civilisation as their own, but please people, adhere to a proper academic prose style. 2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:A4A6:8631:6DF0:24C1 (talk) 06:18, 30 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

??? None of this was written by Greeks. Could you be more specific? Johnbod (talk) 14:03, 30 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Typo? edit

In the section 'Ceramic periodization' it is stated "the transition from LM III to MM IA is characterized by the appearance of handmade polychrome pottery". Shouldn't it be the transition from EMIII to MM IA? 153.96.98.7 (talk) 13:02, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Yes indeed! Good catch! I've fixed the text, but in the future you are welcome to be bold! Botterweg14 (talk) 15:00, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
