Election years edit

@Pvmoutside: In this edit, you added that Lucius Lyon was elected in 1842. However, the Michigan elections were November 8, 1843. Until 1881, I believe, some states held elections in the odd-number years, so editors can't assume the elections were always in the even-numbered years.

Furthermore, you linked to 1842 and 1843 United States House of Representatives elections as a general link, but there was already a more accurate link, 1843 United States House of Representatives elections in Michigan, which would have redirected back to the general one. —GoldRingChip 15:06, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
