No, as this is a Supreme Court case, one with wide-ranging consequences, it should have its own page, with information in both Bob McDonnell's Wikipedia page, and this page PalmerTheGolfer (talk)PalmerTheGolfer
If Bob McDonnell were not notable, this case would still be notable as a U.S. Supreme Court case, in my opinion. I think having a separate article for the case makes sense, with additional coverage in Bob McDonnell#Federal corruption charges as needed. The latter needs to be balanced so as to not give undue weight to a specific controversy in the context of the individual's biography. --MZMcBride (talk) 04:37, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
I'd just like to point out that this article as it exists right now is very hard to follow, unless the reader already knows the facts being discussed. It starts out talking about what's at issue in the appeal without saying much about the facts of the case. It then jumps into a ruling by a judge that turns out to be about a different previous case, involving a defendant named Jefferson. If I'm reading that right, shouldn't that be under "Legal Citations"? And other references are written in an equally confusing manner, leaving me to wonder for instance if McDonnell has something to do with something called "kids for cash." I realize the author probably thinks these points are all perfectly clear, but I'm having trouble with the information and I don't think I'm particularly slow on the uptake.Ramseyman (talk) 13:21, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
