The page should be called "Märkischer Kreis" as that is the name of the district when standing alone. I guess it was moved to "Märkische Kreis" because of the introductory sentence. It lacks the "r" there in mixing german and english grammar (the german sentence would have been "Der Märkische Kreis ist..."). But I am not sure if that is the correct way to add german words into an english sentence. andy 21:44 9 Jun 2003 (UTC)
