Major Cleanup!Edit
Hello,
From this day, November 29th, to December 31st, we will be cleaning up this article on a LARGE scale. How? All teams will require proof of their "Professional" status. That means a website, proof of sponsorship, or something of that kind. A website is usually enough to prove that a team belongs in this article. After December 31st, every single team that has no evidence to back up their claim as a professional team will be promptly deleted.
Here is a list of the teams that still require proof. Don't worry, it will be updated frequently, so just remember that teams not on this list have already been checked.
There are three established professional leagues: The NPPL, the NXL, and the CPL (Millenium Europe). Any of those teams should remain by default, whether they actively submit information or not. In fact, it's silly (and against wikipedia policy) to expect teams to maintain information about themselves.
I have removed from the list below some teams that are NXL, NPPL or CPL teams. Raehl 23:46, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Very well, works for me. RavenStorm 15:23, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Hey all, I was just going over the list of "pro" scenario teams, and seeing as how I have a bit of experience in scenario paintball (and am on one of the teams listed) I think I can help out with the whole 'proof of their "Professional" status' thing. I know many teams on the list and can help validate their website/sponsor requirement as listed above. Also, I think we should note on the main list that pro scenario teams aren’t technically pro, since they don’t get paid to play in the slightest. Tell me how I can start helping, since I’m still getting started with the whole wiki thing. -Swaim 16:50, 9 December 2006 (EST)
Professional Speedball teamsEdit

ever be complete?Edit
Will this list ever be complete? How is the list verified? -- Ben (talk) 08:11, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
This list is verified by crosschecking with the NPPL Pro team list and with the APPA database of pro NXL teams. 65.96.92.228 14:05, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
How do I get my team on here?Edit
Team OPFOR - Scenario Paintball Team
I have been working to get my team, Team OPFOR, recognized as such. We have participated in tournaments and scenario games across the pacific northwest and west coast. We have several sponsors, and from what has been described, we would qualify.
Our latest tournament was the SPPL (Scenario Paintball Players League) produced by the company, Special Ops Paintball ( http://www.specialopspaintball.com ).
Our sponsors are http://www.countysports.com, http://www.atomicordnance.com, http://www.pacifictacticalsolutions.com, as well as some local stores and businesses.
Our teams current website address is http://www.angelfire.com/planet/opfor. Soon we will be moving to http://www.teamopfor.net. Also, you can visit our paintball forums at http://opforforum.informe.com/index.php.
In addition to all of this, Team OPFOR has even opened our very own paintball field, Totally Tactical Paintball Village, in Hayden, Idaho. Also know as the Ville, for short.
So, as I stated before, we would like to be recognized as a professional scenario paintball team. Do we qualify?

Scenario teams don't count, as stated by "There are three established professional leagues: The NPPL, the NXL, and the CPL (Millenium Europe)." 65.96.92.228 14:03, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Team OPFOREdit
The SPPL isn't established?
Check it out.
Team OPFOR competes in tournaments, as well as scenario/speedball games. But nevermind that. What I'm more interested in is, why isn't the SPPL an established league?
Anybody know? Sean.brainard 17:00, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Find a few other teams that play for the SPPL and you can add your team. Or else adding an SPPL category for just one team would seem like shameless advertising. RavenStorm 15:50, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Other teams that compete in the SPPLEdit
Sure,
That's just a few from the Oregon qualifer event. They have many more more qualifers around the US, and the finals at Oklahoma D-day, in Oklahoma. I'm sure the staff at Special Ops Paintball would have a complete list. Here is their contact info:

NotabilityEdit
Please note that good verifiable sources is one of the primary thresholds for notability. I will be trimming this list down substantially for all items that cannot be sources, or don't blue-link to another. Please feel free to help out here Jwoodger (talk) 04:27, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
