Why not to move to Wiktionary

I don't think this should be moved to Wiktionary because this page can explain why the Milky Way is called different things, it's not just a collection of translations. Plus it has links to Milky Way (mythology) which gives more detail in certain cases. Tocharianne 17:52, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

I agree, especially as Wiktionary is the wiki to go to for translations.

Girdler Spiral Galaxy?

A quick Google search failed to find any references to back up the claim that Australians euphemistically refer to the Milky Way as the "Girdler Spiral Galaxy" in order to avoid confusion with the candy bar of the same name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.255.2.25 (talk) 17:42, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
