I changed some misspelled names of Romanian recipients...

33rd Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS Charlemagne (1st French) edit

Would the following not class as foreign ?

and all the others Estonian , Latvian etc

They are foreign but fought in units subordinated to the Wehrmacht or SS. These people on this list as foreigners fought for their own country and received the award. MisterBee1966 (talk) 16:25, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Then Degrelle should be taken of the list because he is Belgian,no? Because I knew of the only Flemish Waffen-SS volunteer to receive it was SS-Unterscharführer Remi Schrijnen, but hence foreigners fighting under command of the Wehrmacht or Waffen ss (like Degrelle also) are not eligible for this list, then it seems that either Degrelle should be taken off, or al foreign volunteers are to be included in the list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.197.147.193 (talk) 16:53, 24 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

statistics edit

There should be a separate section on statistics by countries at the end. Nergaal (talk) 09:19, 19 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Romanian ranks edit

What are the sources for listing Petre Dumitrescu as a Colonel General and Corneliu Teodorini as Captain General? These ranks are not included in this list of contemporary Romanian Army ranks. Opera hat (talk) 16:27, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Question edit

The article Pavle Đurišić claims that he is a recipient of the Iron Cross... is that trouth? FkpCascais (talk) 03:08, 22 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I can say that he is not listed as a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, which is a higher grade of the Iron Cross. Having said that, I cannot verify whether he received the Iron Cross. This probably doesn't help much. MisterBee1966 (talk) 06:13, 24 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Criminals edit

Some of the listed people were considered criminals and punished, eg. Ion Antonescu, (Léon Degrelle in absentia). I believe that the table should inform about the punishments.Xx236 (talk) 09:56, 14 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
