Other places? may add later? edit
I rewrote the list, got carried away, took ages. I'm bored and tired now.
There were a few more small and archaic places I noticed on some old OS maps I may come back and add them at a later date, but I've had enough for now. I may try to make sure these are all added to list of UK localities at some point too, as well as the Bromley category also. These places all appear on some maps present or past as places/settlement/towns/villages/estates/hamlets/manors and appear to have been used to refer to areas at some point. I can't believe there are around 100 named places in this borough compared to the 30 in Lewisham. There are a lot of Hamlets near the London border, and it is one of the biggest boroughs.
If anyone feels like helping, the remaining places I didn't have the patience to check out fully and add were.
- White Horse Hill (near Chislehurst)
- Ravensbourne (place or just station and river?)
- Clock House (place or just station?)
- Kent House (place or just station?)
- South Berry (Hamlets in the general area of Cudham)
- Broad Street Green
- Lett's Green
- New Barn
- Green Hill
Oh - And I might one day create the map like I did for Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley - but not today. Carlwev 20:16, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
