Can anyone direct me to information on recent projections of the future increase in oil consumption by country?

Thanks --GCX500 (talk) 03:53, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Per capita edit

Shouldn't we have a column with per capita consumption.

Yes edit

Per capita consumption is much more meaningful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.252.107.21 (talk) 07:16, 10 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

What edit

How are Saudi Arabia and Canada consuming so much oil? I know they produce a lot of it, but they're not that big of industrial countries to be consuming so much of it.

Maybe confusing "refining" with consumption? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.14.13.12 (talk) 03:27, 6 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

The EU? edit

Are the EU now a country? One can only assume so, as it's included in this list of countries. We should now delete the former bloc's constituent countries, as they are now merely regions of the country called EU. Bye Bye France, it was fun. See ya Italy... 88.104.81.236 (talk) 20:58, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

As you may have noticed, the World is also present (which is not a country either), and both EU and the world have different backgrounds (grey background, and no rank) to specify they are there for comparison purposes. --Ita140188 (talk) 08:48, 21 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Convert in liters edit

Most people never bought a barrel of petroleum I imagine, only from the pump.

(Well I olly use a bycicle/train between cities),

Whatever...the data prolly would make sense in liters, more than in the standard bbl unit...which is 153 liters (so useful for conversions!).

So yes, please add liters/day. 2A01:E34:EC12:36C0:E420:1E5E:9649:7D3D (talk) 20:25, 22 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Something doesn’t add up edit

The list states usa consumption to be in the area of 20 million bpd. The USA is now considered a net exporter of oil. However this article states List of countries by oil production that US production is only in the area of 12 million bpd. Are the numbers in this article including gas as bpd equivalents ? If so this needs to be clarified. 213.128.252.90 (talk) 13:07, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
