Talk:List of Native American superheroes

Intro edit

That introduction is a bit... informal. It appeals for further information, which would probably be better done in the Talk section. And there's an obvious vibe being set off that 'Stereotyped Native American Superheros' are a bad thing. I'd probably agree with the author, but that's still a lack of neutrality. The comment that Native Americans have been portrayed in comics as a whole as 'diverse but stereotyped' is opinion. I can, for example, cite Echo from the comic book Daredevil, and point to the fact that while she has an obvious Native American heritage, it is very far from defining her character. No delete edit

Inuits are japanese indians and fair skinned (yellow) recent settlers in the alaskan banks. I consider the navajo NOT INUITS a culture which expanded all the way to greenland..Northwind is a navajo. They were egyptians whom expanded from Asia to northamerica ALL the way to greenland via alaska. Don't delete my shit, thanx.

Villains edit

You seem to be pasting the lists from Jorge's Supers right onto your list pages without doing any basic research on the character within. Jorge does not separate villains from heroes, so you may be required to do a little research. If I didn't have exhaustive references on most of these characters I wouldn't have caught your mistakes. --Basique 15:30, 26 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

The article needs to be either renamed or its scope changed edit

Currently it's listing not only fictional Native American superheroes but all kinds of fictional indigenous people of the Americas who are superheroes. (Yes, it's a difference.) --Niemti (talk) 19:42, 17 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Suggested characters edit

It seems like it is missing a lot of them. The big one I noticed was T. Hawk. 66.99.150.50 (talk) 23:14, 7 March 2018 (UTC)OnewitherrReply

I will take a look and add as needed. Pyrrho the Skeptic (talk) 20:55, 22 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
