Add Unscheduled releases edit

There are so many films that have either been announced or gone to floor, but their release date is not fixed. These films would have their release in late 2013 or 2014. So one can add a section of unscheduled releases on this page on interim basis. Please consider my reques. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jazzy Prinker (talkcontribs) 03:08, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Mazii Movie edit

Hello, i wanted to say that there is a fake movie on September 27. The film name is Mazii we do not yet know about that film and this is included in the list after releasing. So i wanted to say that remove this film from the list. I also wanted to say that there are also some movies which are included in the list now such as Pyaar Mein aisa bhi hota hai and gangobai etc. These films have unknown genre. So remove these films as they are fake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.160.119.142 (talk) 11:16, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Not done. Although I could not reach the citation for Maazii (gateway problem), this source makes it clear when it will be released. The citations for the other two you mention clearly support the stated genres. None of them are fake. --Stfg (talk) 12:36, 10 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Krish 3 figures edit

As per most reliable source boxoffice india Krrish 3 had an excellent second week as it grossed around 46 crore nett taking its business to 168 crore nett in Hindi. The film has dropped at the beginning of its third week and will not hit the 200 crore nett mark. BLOCKBUSTER [1]

Then how 239 Crore are being reflected in the article ? Edwarddz (talk) 14:55, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

This figure is also not matching with English Wikipedia article on Krrish 3. WP bolly wood movie articles follow a standard by adopting most reliable and neutral Box office india 's collections for any movie. I request that this list should be reconciled with WP articles on the movies (which are listed in this article). Chennai express first with 208 Crore Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani Second with 186 Crores and so on. Edwarddz (talk) 15:04, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Additionally all previous years in the list have followed same standard and that is boxofficeindia.com's figures so why to use producers self claimed exaggerated figures in 2013 from bolly wood hungama Edwarddz (talk) 15:18, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

As per many non-biased trade analysts & media Krrish 3 is now the Highest grossing Bollywood movie of all time beating Chennai Express. Then how come this article is showing false figures. [1][2][3] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 183.83.89.89 (talk) 18:58, 26 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Except the website Boxofficeindia, every trade website is showing Krrish 3 domestic gross between Rs 230 Crore to Rs 245 Crore. This clearly shows that figures of Boxofficeindia for Krrish 3 are incorrect. It is clear biasness and wkipiedia is expected to show correct figures. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.211.254.104 (talk) 08:59, 10 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

References

Chennai express life time collections are 208 Crore not 206 edit

The reference quoted in the article states "Chennai Express has taken its total to 206 crore nett in for weeks and is likely to add another 2 crore nett to have an approx life time finish of 208 crore nett. The figures have beaten the previous record holder 3 Idiots by around 3%. The distributor share of the film will be 115 crore which will be 8.50 crore better than the previous record holder Ek Tha Tiger." Edwarddz (talk) 12:41, 23 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

All Time Blockbuster edit

Hello everyone, I am leaving here a message not intentionally to trigger a debate but to prevent page from edit warring. It would be however welcoming if someone shows up with arguments. I've changed the the status on Chennai Express from All Time Blockbuster to Blockbuster following availability of multiple reliable sources. I do not deny that Chennai Express was earlier declared All time blockbuster bollywood movie but wait! it was before the release of Dhoom-3. Source says, Chennai Express creates history, broken all time records, etc.

I would quote WP:RECENTISM & WP:UPTODATE here. Few lines from the same page I would made available partially for the lazy Wikipedians, Wikipedia is a work-in-progress encyclopedia, which means that it is not finished nor will it ever be. As in a paper encyclopedia, information on Wikipedia will often become inaccurate because it is simply out of date. But unlike a paper encyclopedia, in which a new edition is printed maybe every year or so, Wikipedia can be updated anytime. There is a very simple solution to all that: Change it! All you have to do is to click "edit", make the necessary changes, and save the changes, writing in the edit summary that you are updating the information.

In order to update information and make the article accurate, I've got multiple reliable sources falsifying earlier reports reported by the same source. Some of them are listed below, Source 1, Source 2, another more notable source, Source 3, Source 4, There actually are many more out there.
Note: The talk page associated with an article is for discussion of improvements to the article Please do not make personal comments.
