Krishnaswami Kasturirangan → Kasturirangan – Per WP:COMMONNAME, Kasturirangan is the most common name. Its usually Dr. Kasturirangan or Prof. Kasturirangan. The Krishnaswami part is rarely used. Lynch7 15:41, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Kasturirangan → K. Kasturirangan – I think it is slightly demeaning to not have the initial name in title. For example, we have A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and not Abdul Kalam, similarly P. V. Narasimha Rao and not Narasimha Rao though the other are more "commonly used" mainly for convenience by media I believe. Regards, Lovy Singhal (talk) 12:01, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
