floating point version edit

The article currently cites this to support the assertion that the floating point version of Krait is VFPv4, but the article here by the same authors says that it is VFPv3. Does anyone know for sure which version Krait implements and where one might find a definitive citation for that information? --Greenbreen (talk) 08:23, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

I have Synology RT2600ac router with aforementioned CPU. VFPv4 is definitely listed as an extension. Here is the ’cat /proc/cpuinfo’ output:
model name ARMv7 Processor rev 0 (v7l)

Features half thumb fastmult vfp edsp neon vfpv3 tls vfpv4 idiva idivt vfpd32

0x04d part number is Krait 300. Myham (talk) 10:35, 10 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

at least a Krait300 (I own a Jolla1 with MSM8930AA and gcc4.8.3) can perform a 'vfma.f64 d0, d9, d18' assembler operation (which is VFPV4-D32) without complaining and returning the right result... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:A62:21D:9E01:221:6AFF:FE28:7F70 (talk) 15:38, 3 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
