Links edit

I've decided to move the following links to this page.

Fansite for Shinsengumi related fiction including Kaze Hikaru: http://www.hajimenokizu.com

Saito's summary came from this site. Shining Wind: A Kaze Hikaru Fansite Seven 02:47, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

A few notes edit

1. In Kaze Hikaru, Okita does NOT teach Sei kenjutsu. He trains her by sparring with her. There's a difference. Seven 14:32, 23 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

2, In Japan, the first volume of Kaze Hikaru was published in 1997. Seven 14:32, 23 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

3. Later in the series, Okita's position as the captain of the first aquad isn't a promotion and isn't because of his combat skills. Instead, he gets reassigned as the captain of the first squad as the members of the Shinsengumi increase. Seven 02:58, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Removing the original research edit

Some regard Kaze Hikaru as a cross between Peacemaker Kurogane and Rose of Versailles.[original research?]

It is indeed an original research and also inaccurate.
The sentence implied Kaze Hikaru was inspired from Peacemaker Kurogane while in reality, Kaze Hikaru was started in 1997 [1] while Peace Kurogane started two years later [2]

Quick assessments edit

  • There are some grammar issues
  • Don't link the names in the header since it doesn't actually link to the same character. While the characters are based on those names, they are not actually the same person in a sense. It would be better to mention and link them in the prose.
  • I don't believe mentioning Backstage Prince is necessary. That's just me. I would remove that part to keep the article focused on the topic. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 05:02, 15 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
