Merger proposal edit

The result of the sale of the license in 2015 and a strange bifurcation of the page history is that we have an article separate from the license history. I doubt that the internet station would have standalone notability without having had a broadcast license. What's weird is I can't find anything about the broadcast station's programming since the sale other than what was announced at the time about catering to a South Asian audience. • Support merger per nom.--Tdl1060 (talk) 21:00, 14 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Support merger. We don't split articles this way just because the same station underwent a change in branding, format, owner, frequency or broadcast platform — the station's entire history gets handled as one article about its current iteration which covers the whole history. As well, it's entirely true that without the broadcast license, the old internet radio service would not independently get over WP:NMEDIA at all — it's notable as the background history of a broadcast radio station, not as its own standalone thing, so if it weren't merged back it would have to be deleted outright. • Support: If our usual notability guidelines are any indication, any notability for KSFH is tied to the FCC-licensed FM radio station. If not for that historical association, KSFH (internet station) would not be independently notable from Saint Francis High School itself; it certainly isn't independently notable from KSFH the FM station. (Heck, probably the most notable aspect of KSFH is the whole "one of the two licensed stations on 87.9 MHz" thing, which obviously doesn't apply to the online-only namesake at all!) --WCQuidditch 04:23, 21 January 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by NiSaBo (talkcontribs) Reply
