Shakespeare -

There is a recent claim that the Alvearie was Shakespeare's reference. Specifically, a copy of the book with numerous annotations said to be in Shakespeare's hand has made the news: http://shakespearesbeehive.com/ and http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/books/booksellers-claim-to-have-found-shakespeares-annotated-dictionary-20140421-3707q.html (2014.04.21) in which Mark Tewfik says, " As such, they've just published Shakespeare's Beehive, a 300-page book outlining their case, which proves, at least, that the Alvearie was vital to the composition of many of Shakespeare's plays and poems. And at most, it shows that this is one of the most significant finds in the history of literature." Wow! This comes just around the 450th anniversary of WS's birth. In a few days, scholars should weigh in and, if it proves legitimate or at least probably so, it should be incorporated into our article(s). Kdammers (talk) 11:45, 23 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
