Article title edit

I wonder why this article is named "Japan Railway" instead of "Japan Railways" or "Japan Railways Group" as shown in the group's official website. Is there any reason? Otherwise I would like to propose the move. --Sushiya 07:38, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Japan RailwayJapan Railways Group — The group uses the form "Japan Railways Group" in its official website as a title of the site. Also, inclusion of the word "Group" in the article title would be helpful for readers to understand concept of JR Group. —Sushiya 13:24, 12 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

The result of the proposal was Move. Tbo 157(talk) (review) 15:38, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Support - As "Japan Railways Group" appears to be the name used officially. --DAJF 03:36, 13 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Support - Official name, and it makes it clear that it is actually four companies in a group, not one --Dex1337 00:37, 14 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ownership edit

I wonder why there is no clarity about the ownership of this private company. Who owns maximum shares etc. 117.211.32.52 (talk) 06:30, 6 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
