Barry Cryer, Michael Dennison and Leonard Rossiter

I've removed the references to Barry Cryer, Michael Dennison and Leonard Rossiter from the list of Prominent members of the Intelligence Corps. Rossiter appears to have served as an instructor in the Education Corps [1]. I can't find any references to Cryer's and Dennison's military service. This isn't to say that they didn't serve in the Corps, merely that we could do with some references to establish the facts. Countersubject 11:56, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Tony Hart and William Roache

I've tagged TH's and WR's entries in tyhe Prominent members ... section as requiring references, as their Wikipedia articles have their commissions in the 1st Gurkha Rifles and the Royal Welch Fusiliers respectively. That isn't to say they didn't also see service with the Intelligence Corps - just that we could do with a reference for the fact. Countersubject 12:58, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

More work and information required

This wiki article reads like a PR person from the Ministry of Defence has written it. There needs to be some reference to Intelligence Corps units in Northern Ireland during The Troubles (added one - FRU). And perhaps some controversial members such as Gordon Kerr (FRU) and John Berry (1970's SIGINT trial also featuring Duncan Campbell).

Removing the link to Israel's intelligence corps.

It's wholly unnecessary to superimpose a reference to that article onto this one.

All other intelligence corps are prefixed by their country's name. The Australian Intelligence corps, and so forth. Someone seems to have taken it upon themselves to name the Israeli intelligence corps page "Intelligence Corps (Israel)" and linked it on our British one, but not ours on theirs.

It is very suspect, and rather pointless. Nobody is in any doubt or confusion as to which is which, and the only confusion that exists, exists because someone created the Israeli article with a pedantic name and linked it to the British one. If you were going to do that, you would be obliged to also link the more relevant commonwealth countries' intelligence corps to it. Why make a special exception to Israel?

It's not a disambiguation, or even a simple mistake that someone would make. Nobody would confuse the British Army with the Israeli, why then would they confuse their intelligence corps? It's extremely poor formatting, at best, and at worst, shilling. I've moved the article, and turned this into a redirect.

I've amended the pages in line with naming conventions, and given them their proper names, alleviating the "need" to link to one another. Contributer232312 (talk) 23:01, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

Well, it seems an admin didn't take kindly to my doing that. I've still removed the link to the IDF page. That link was put there by a former member of the IDF, amusingly enough. It even says on his profile that his edits at the time were acts of vandalism. To clarify, most militaries have intelligence corps. Israel's is wholly insignificant, and completely unrelated to the British one. There is zero confusion between the two, and nothing to warrant linking theirs here. It's simply pointless.
