Factual Problems

Some of those poll numbers add up to more than 100%. I am not an Indonesian, and I do not know the language, so I will not be able to verify the figures. Polling

Would it be better to have polling figures in reverse chronological order?

Yes, it would probably be better to have them with the most recent at the top. But it's quite a job to rearrange them. However, if anybody has time to do so, that would be good. Pmccawley (talk) 03:52, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

Additional verification notice

Quick count results

The article uses the term "Quick count results". Does this mean opinion polls, or something else? Deipnosophista (talk) 11:29, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

The term "quick count" is currently widely used in dicussing the Indonesian election results. The details of precisely what it means have also been set out in the Indonesian media. Basically, what has happened is that about 10 different (fairly independent) groups have (a) been present at the public count at a good sample of election booths across Indonesia, and (b) have quickly reported (and aggregated) these public results to obtain an estimated nation-wide result. This process is public, but is not an official count (because the official election authority naturally requires that ALL results be collected and checked before an official announcement is made on 22 July). Since around 10 separate groups are running these "quick counts", the aggregate (average) result from them all tends to be fairly reliable. In recent elections, the quick counts have indeed proved fairly reliable.Pmccawley (talk) 22:46, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

Election map colour

It seems odd that they are both red. While the colours aren't all that similar, why doesn't it use the colours used in the heading? Red and brown? Alex of Canada (talk) 08:31, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
