Rate Attribute Review Comment
1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. notes below on clarity
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.
2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose). I am not familiar with many of the offline/guide sources but I have no reason to believe them to be unreliable, and no issues have been brought up at previous GANs in this topic area.
2c. it contains no original research.
2d. it contains no copyright violations or plagiarism.
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic.
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
  4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
  5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content.
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.
  7. Overall assessment.

I found this to be a nice article; just a few notes:

  • The end of the first paragraph ends abruptly - is this an unfinished sentence or just missing punctuation?
    • I guess I somehow missed (or accidentally removed) a period here - fixed.--AlexandraIDV 07:12, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Overview:
    • What are "the Imbued"?
      • It's just what this game calls characters who have been given powers and knowledge of the supernatural. Reworded it.--AlexandraIDV 07:12, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
    • "These are called edges" - what does "These" refer to? There are a lot of things in the sentence before, which might warrant a split.
      • Re-reading it, you're right - I've split the prior sentence and specified what "these" refers to.--AlexandraIDV 07:12, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Production:
    • "and how power corrupts" - maybe clearer with an object?
    • Although the game includes monsters appearing in other World of Darkness games, they do not necessarily abide the same rules as in their home games, allowing for a vampire in Hunter: The Reckoning to be more brutal and vile than one in Vampire: The Masquerade and to have other abilities and weaknesses, creating an experience for players used to other World of Darkness games that reflects how hunters do not know how vampires work seems a bit unwieldy, maybe split before the specific example of a vampire.
    • Is there any information on why the second edition is called the "5th Edition"? If this is a result of "Development of H5 began during the production of the fifth edition of Werewolf: The Apocalypse", I think it could go with clarification.
      • This is something that has made it really annoying to write about H5. It almost certainly is a branding/marketing thing relating to how the most recent / upcoming versions of Vampire and Werewolf both are #5, but without a source to cite for this it would be WP:OR to say so. Really hoping Achilli or whomever gets asked about this in an interview at some point.--AlexandraIDV 07:12, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
        • Alright, in that case without I agree there shouldn't be anything there.
  • Consider using {{abbr}} for "TBA"
  • Magia i Miecz found it strange how the hunters themselves use supernatural means to fight off supernatural beings, however. -- maybe move "however" to front? not too big of a deal

@Eviolite: I have addressed/responded to all your points above. Apologies for taking some time on this!--AlexandraIDV 07:16, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
No worries on the delay. I'm happy with the changes and all comments are addressed, so am promoting to GA. Nice work. eviolite (talk) 16:23, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
