Might want to add how Human positions/posture affects the back. 70.111.251.203 13:23, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

How does the back work ? edit

I have no idea how the back works, so am unable to contribute anything useful - but... Many people have problems with their back, which presumably are due either to damage to some component, or to stress propagating from one component to another. There must be a reason for the presence of all the muscle groups, ligaments, bones. So can the article be improved to answer :

- How does it all work together ?
- What goes wrong & why ?

I would also suggest that given the huge economic impact cited, the article might merit a higher importance.

Proposed image switch edit

Hello, I proposed removing the photo of the skull tattoo and replacing it with this one: Image:Man with tattoo on his back - at the beach.JPG. This new image is from a wider view, and is better for showing the subject in question (the back). The skull tattoo is probably better used at tattoo, since it focuses in exclusively on the tattoo itself. Other thoughts? Johntex\talk 17:01, 9 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

The image of the woman is good for the tattoos, I'll move the painting down once Image:Human back.jpg has been deleted so we can use Commons:Image:Human back.jpg for the intro.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 14:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
I disagree. Infact, the back article has nothing to do with tattoos. That image should be in the tattoo article. And if so, although totally unrelated to an encyclopaedic article, there are far more professional tatoo pictures without copyright we could use from wikipedia commons. --78.86.117.164 21:41, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Available edit

If another full image is required, I have recently uploaded one of my own back, which can be found at: Image:Human_Back_003.jpg Feel free to use it for this article - Boochan 07:32, 5 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

No offence but, goddamn... I hope someone uploads a photo of a better model. I wouldn't like aliens to think we humans are like that on average... --Taraborn 03:16, 5 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
hahahah - Yeah, unforunately it does the job better then the one with the female's tattooed back because it shows the whole thing rather then just the abdomen area. - Boochan 08:36, 5 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sholder edit

Often my sholders feel like my back, which isn't normal, right? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.132.212.52 (talk) 02:15, 6 May 2007 (UTC).Reply

How about Image:Gray1211.png ? It looks like a good picture of a human back.

Great Work. - Boochan 13:16, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
