Extended use of the word American, as in "verses", the American Indian is overboard. I have removed these instances in fairness, and unless there is references using such language, it should be excluded. Many settlers, miners, and others that traveled to the west were not in fact "Americans" so the continued use was misleading and biased. Use of "American government, with references, would not be contentious or arguable but not just content that portrays "American's verses Indian", as hostilities from Indians were generally extended to 'any', regardless of nationality, that "encroached" on land they considered theirs.
