list of performances in lead edit

Hello Gerda, I don't like that long list of performances in the lead. Grimes2 (talk) 16:28, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Feel free to do something more general to show what kind of work he does. The red link will turn blue tomorrow ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:31, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
Adding detail in the lead like this does not improve it. This info should be reserved for the body. Not sure why you would like the lead to be improved. It was reasonably good already. Jmar67 (talk) 17:43, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
So far the lead said that he premiered operas and staged at international houses and festivals. Many do that. I tried to be a bit more specific. What you two did is focus on composers, including Udo Zimmermann whose article was in sad shape until I gave it at least the normal formatting. I know why I focus on the works and not the men ;) - Reimann composed so many operas, - why not be specific. Penderecki: why not say which one? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:15, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
The lead is fine now. Only a few productions, reflecting Kupfer's career highlights, are mentioned now. Thanks, Gerda. Grimes2 (talk) 09:56, 3 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
