I'm sorry but this sounds more like an AD than a article. I know its something historical but phrases like

"The Hansen Writing Ball is one of the most finely crafted and impressive of the early typewriters."

"the design was so ingenious that few errors were possible."

Frankly, I don't think that sounding like an ad is bad at all-- just not very professional. Advertising something that was invented many year ago and probably won't be possible to use (or even find) these days. --205.215.177.154 (talk) 18:22, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

That Actually looks like an excellent idea.

Why aren't there modern variations of that writting ball? That actually looks A LOT more comfortable than a keyboard, more natural to the hands.

What kind of keyboard configuration is used?

Top speed?

What is the top speed achieved? How does it fair against the DVORAK layout? Words like "very fast" is not a good indicator.

I have a first-person source that says the maximum writing speed when using the Hansen Writing Ball is 10 to 12 letters per second, but I'm not sure how that translates into words per minute, and I'm not sure if that information is completely reliable. Comparisons to other typewriters?

It would be interesting if, in this article, the features and characteristics of the Hansen Writing Ball were compared to those of other typewriters, particularly the typewriters that are more well-known. As someone who does not have a wealth of knowledge on various kinds of typewriters or the workings of typewriters, I think that it might contribute to the article if there were a section that stacks the Hansen Writing Ball up to more recognizable models of typewriters.128.239.199.138 (talk) 01:08, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
