Anti-semitism controversy edit

The party’s executive and members of the party have been accused of anti-semitism. Monika Schaefer Green canidate in Multiple elections arrested in Germany and Holocaust denier, Paul Manly who Tom Mulcair refused to be a candidate in the NDP and he was expelled from the NDP because he felt his views were anti-Semitic Dimitri Lascaris tweets have been accused as anti-Semitic and condemned by B'nai B'rith and the leaders of Liberal, Conservative, and NDP. In 2014 than party president Paul Estrin a Jewish man left after receiving Anti-Semitic hate and slurs from within the party for condemning Hamas and recently Annamie Paul during her leadership campaign said she was subjected to “months of antisemitic attacks” she also said “My loyalty to Canada has also been called into question,” she wrote, “and I have been accused of taking bribes from Israel, leading a Zionist take-over of the Green Party of Canada and of spreading hasbarah” — a term antisemites use for Israeli propaganda. Former aid and advisor to Paul, Noah Zatzman stated he had “Never experienced more anti-Semitism and Jew hatred from people I thought I knew well, than I did this week,” specifically singling out Lascaris and “many Liberal NDP and sadly Green MPs.” He later lost his job and the parties executive has asked Annamie Paul to denounce him or they would “attack her”. I feel it’s something important similar to Labour party accusations of anti-semitism I think it should at least get a mention I would love to hear what other people have to say and read their opinions. I'm going to undo this addition (which has since been added to the main page). I do think the accusations and controversies regarding antisemitism are probably worth noting, since it's been a recurring story for the Greens, but I think we need to be very cautious about how we cover it, since it is a very explosive charge. It must not be given WP:UNDUE weight nor WP:SYNTHesized from various bits of info, and very strongly sourced. I do not think the above paragraph meets those standards. — Kawnhr (talk) 19:53, 29 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
I definitely was not serious with that paragraph I really just did the edit so someone would delete it and give me reply we should come to a consensus on a proper paragraph to put Black roses124 (talk) 03:01, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
the paragraph that I wrote I wanna make it clear was not in anyway meant to be serious it’s just a paragraph giving a history of Green Party issue with anti-semitism. There should be a way better paragraph that should be put, I just thought anti-semitism should be noted with same treatment as it is with UK Labour Party. Just wanted to make that clear. Can anyone come up with a good paragraph? Black roses124 (talk) 14:50, 1 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Best Political Position Solution edit

I think this would be best solution for the info box:

Political position: Syncretic[A]

footnote = ^ A: The Green Party officially rejects the traditional left–right political spectrum. Read more in political position.

This was done in the Forward Party (United States) page, a party which also holds no real political position or stance. ZlatanSweden10

You need to provide source(s) that describe the Green Party as syncretic, otherwise it's original research. Syncreticism isn't just when a party's membership is incoherent or has a single (set of) goal(s). Yue🌙 07:38, 3 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
