- As I said on your talk page, it was extremely popular in the 1990s and used for many products, including Tazo Tea and the game Diablo (forgot to add that to the article), advertisements, and web pages. Doing a search for "Exocet font" on Google or Google Groups brings up a ton of hits. Asserting a font's popularity will always be somewhat arbitrary, but I assure you this is important. - E-Rotic, the German Eurodance duo act, used this font for their logo. --DimaLeon2000 (talk) 12:12, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- Several variations/imitations of this font appeared during the 1990s, such as one with a curving top bar coming down from left to right on the letter M. Although they doubtless had another creator or creators, they surely demonstrate the influence which Exocet had in its epoch.
