ING Life (India)ING Life IndiaRelisted. The company name seems to be ING Vysya Life Insurance Company and the article uses ING Life, India. That leaves the proposed name as not supported. Vegaswikian (talk) 20:41, 3 August 2011 (UTC) Unambigupous name is ING Life India, no comma no parenthesis. http://www.inglife.co.in/aboutus/aboutus.shtml Bogdan Nagachop (talk) 17:57, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. More natural not to use brackets in this case. Jenks24 (talk) 06:01, 29 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
    • Disagree with the relisting. The proposed name is supported—have a look at the link Bogdan provided. Jenks24 (talk) 22:49, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

ING Life has been renamed as Exide Life Insurance as Exide Industries has 100% ownership of the same. edit

ING Life has been renamed as Exide Life Insurance as Exide Industries has 100% ownership of the same.[1]

Hence, the URL of Wikipedia page [2] should ideally be [3]. Also, title should read 'Exide Life Insurance India'. Tried editing the page title using {{DISPLAYTITLE:Exide Life Insurance India}} but dint seem to work. §Ashita — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashita Vishnu (talkcontribs) 10:08, 3 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Ashita Vishnu: Hi there - in cases like these, we move pages, but only autoconfirmed users are able to do that. I've gone ahead and taken care of the move. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 05:53, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

The URL [4] still exists. It should be redirected to [5] as ING Life is now Exide Life and hence presence of [6] does not make sense. Redirection is the ideal thing to happen and that is best for user. Ashita Vishnu (talk) 14:07, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Ashita VishnuReply

@Ashita Vishnu: Exide Life Insurance is the official title of the company, and that is currently where the article is at. Unless there's evidence otherwise, there doesn't seem to be any reason to append "India" to the end of the company title. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 14:53, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

@SuperHamster - Apologies if I was not clear before. What I meant is not about appending India, I meant that since the organization ING Life has now become Exide Life, the presence of page [7] does not make sense. User should be redirected to [8]. Please let me know your feedback. Ashita Vishnu (talk) 08:31, 30 July 2014 (UTC)Ashita VishnuReply

Deleted copyrighted content edit

The majority of the article, as I found it, was a copyright violation copied from this official company press release. I've gone ahead and cleared all copied content. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 05:54, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Redirect and Merge edit

None of the references in this article meet the criteria for establishing notability. I suggest that the article is merged and redirected to the parent company. HighKing++ 12:23, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
