To Whom It May Concern:

The entry on Evelyn Ashford contains a significant factual error. Specifically, the entry states: "She has ran [sic] under the 10 second barrier over 50 times, and was the first to run under 10 seconds in an Olympic Games."

Florence Griffith Joyner holds the world record for the women's 100 meter event with a time of 10.49 seconds. Therefore, no woman has EVER run under 10 seconds in the 100 meter event.

Uhhh...this article is a disaster edit

Who the hell wrote this article? It is HORRIBLY disjointed, nonsensical and non-coherent.

The introduction needs well formed thesis and conclusion statements with specific details between them.

Evelyn Ashford ran 51.08 in the heats of the 400 at the 1984 USA/Mobil Outdoor Championships. She did not run in the final, where Valerie Brisco (formerly Hooks) ran a national-record of 49.83.
