The price of electric cellos is due to change because of young cello players who want to explore different genres of music. - I had trouble parsing this sentence. Is the intended meaning "the price is sure to change because of increased interest in different styles..." or "the price (high or low) is because of changes in level of interest in different styles..."? The former seems like a hypothesis that doesn't belong in Wikipedia; the latter is not specific enough. RosinDebow 17:08, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Who would be discouraged by the cost and why? For whom is it cost-prohibitive? Apocalyptica, Rasputina, etc.

I do not think Apocalyptica, Rasputina, and similar bands belong in an article about electric cellos. They play on acoustic cellos that are amplified, not electric ones. TrogdorPolitiks (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 11:08, 15 November 2008 (UTC).

I know Bond uses electric instruments, not just acoustics with pick-ups. Not sure about the others you mentioned, though...
