Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (your reason here) --Berserker276 (talk) 17:55, 28 October 2016 (UTC) I merely misspelled the name and am unsure of how to delete an article and wish to continue with this one, specifically with the 'United States Army officer' in the title.
- @Berserker276: Well we can delete this one, and rename the original. The real problem is working out how to spell his name. The reference cited says "Eldridge". A minority of other refs online say "Elbridge". Which is correct? Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 18:00, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Wikishovel: All of what I'm seeing points to his name being with a 'b' as opposed to a 'd' so I think this is the correct version Berserker276 (talk) 18:39, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
- Check out references (2)
and (4)(3) and 5) in the article. See our problem? Wikishovel (talk) 18:55, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
