Anon material removed edit

I removed material from Earthquake warning system that I thought had inappropriate tone and unreferenced technical speculation. Additional material of a similar nature was inserted in Earthquake prediction by the same contributor so I also removed this. These were contributions by 12.65.192.128 at 12:54 25 August 2007 and earthquake warning system 12.65.216.70 at 20:25 and 20:42 25 August 2007, same style for both IP addresses. Interestingly, it turns out that despite the massive churn in this lengthly interval there appear to be no meaningful contributions since then. Please check my work to confirm this. Commercial interest edit

I will not edit the main page as I have a professional interest in this, however some of the content there seems to have commercial bias. Still more is not verifiable like the statement about "The earliest automated earthquake pre-detection systems". Manu poletti (talk) 03:34, 20 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Had a look at the log and all the content that I am talking about comes form one anon IP - 65.93.192.74 . Again I will not make any changes but if someone else sees it the same way maybe edits by 65.93.192.74 should be removed Manu poletti (talk) 03:50, 20 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Flagged as containing information of commercial bias edit

I found this article while doing some early research for a project and agree with the last two comments made below. The section where QuakeGuard is mentioned in this article is more bias than it should be, written using advertising verbiage and needs to be modified. I have flagged this article for review. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Weatherdrew (talkcontribs) 16:04, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes; all of the forgoing comments appear valid. Feel free to excise all commercial mentions. This topic does not seem to warrant a substantial article, yet I believe there may be enough material to warrant some expansion. Feel free to jump in. Ask if you need assistance. ~ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 00:41, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Here's A Bad Link edit

Clicked on this link in the "External Links" section for "CREWS" and goes to "Site is temporarily unavailable". Here is the link fyi: http://www.crewsnet.org/ Not sure if we remove one that says temporarily? TYLesbrown99 (talk) 01:10, 11 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
