The Lake Go out. Go in canoes over the still brown water too deep for any knowing. Go out. You will not find his boat nor his long quiet body twisted among the reeds. Seek long in the early dawn among the islands and the green hushed lagoons. Seek long. you will not find the place where death came suddenly and laid its hand like sun upon his face.
