Untrue sentences edit

"The following two sentences are untrue. The word description can be used interchangeably with the word theory in physics. When an observer is said to describe an event, experiment, or observation, this is a direct reference, which means a theory describes the event, experiment, or observation." A quite peculiar form of expressing one's disagreement, I'd say. --Oop (talk) 03:53, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Bertie edit

Since Bertie Russell's 'classical texts' are mentioned they should get proper references. 31.52.255.231 (talk) 11:46, 21 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you read the Philosophy section carefully, you will see that Bertrand Russell's classical texts are already linked as the nature of description. That article has the references you seek.—Anita5192 (talk) 15:38, 21 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
