De Witt, New York → Dewitt, New York — Official spelling is without space, see official town site linked from article. Seems like an uncontroversial move, probably a bot or US Census error, but I wanted to make sure. -newkai t-c 06:11, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

• Support I noticed the gap when I added new stuff, so the new stuff has NO GAP. I was letting someone else, some Syracuse area editor, decide what to do about the gap in the title. • Support The correct spelling is DeWitt as per the websites of the town and community library. Since the nomination is now to change the name of the article to that spelling, I'm all for it. Is the 'Pebble Hill' area of DeWitt the former Orville or Orrville? (One or two r's?) Sources of information on this hamlet, now part of the Town of DeWitt? Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 16:43, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
