GA failed

• Early life section has a POV feel to it for the lack of citations. Words like courageous, hard times, ravaged have a subjective feeling to them, just changing them would suit the section fine.
• The same applies to the Reforms paragraph but to a lesser extent.
• Despite his age, he was actively involved in Georgia’s political life. would be more suitable if his age or a time in his life was given.
• David IV pursued a purposeful policy, taking no unconsidered step. uses his throne name, was he king at the point the reforms were done, if so, it should be mentioned with more details that what can be read off the Early life section.
• Since the wikilinked word panipersebastos is not found in WP, it would be necessary to add information for that in the footnote.
• and reunited the area with the rest Georgia. is a bit ambiguous.
• Following the annexation of Kakheti, in 1105, David routed a Seljuk punitive force at the Battle of Ertzukhi, leading to momentum that helped him to secure the key fortresses of Samshvilde, Rustavi, Gishi, and Lorri between 1110 and 1118. doesn't make any sense or is fully POV.
• Problems began to crop up for David now. says who?
• The quality of the article is average for the sentences aren't well constructed and word order isn't always followed.
• In 1120 David IV moved to western Georgia and, when the Turks began pillaging Georgian lands, he suddenly attacked them. thus making a surprise attack on the Turks? or that isn't what is intended by that sentence?
• Many of them later became well-known scholars. ... are there any examples?
• Marriages & Children sections should be merged.
• Title section should be added to the Reforms in a way to show how he was sworn in to power being given that title.
• Legacy section should go before the Marriages section.

The article sayes that:

Who is Emperor Nikephoros IV? According the list of Byzantine Emperors there is only Nikephoros III. Geagea 01:00, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

40.000 Kiptshaks ??????

What the heck did the author think. David sent order, each one man from 40.000 georgin families should join the army. So he had 40.000 georgian warriors, another 20.000 Kiptshaks from norhtern Caucasia and 500 french crusaders against the Ottoman army. So the overall strenght of David's army was 60.500. Not more and not less, facing at least 280-320.000 Ottoman soldiers.

• Oppose No one is arguing that he was not called David the Builder but David IV of Georgia is the more common form used in sources. Overall it is ill advice to use nicknames to denote monarchs of Georgia due to their obscurity to English audiences; the "of Georgia" tell us more about the person than the nickname that many might even get. • Oppose The "X of Georgia" construct is more informative and descriptive. Furthermore, the Georgian nicknames can be rendered in English in various ways, creating confusion. Jadaron and Rusudan

There is no source that Rusudan was Jadaron's wife. Also in my opinion the old photo of the fresco that was changed by one of the anonymous users was much better. 149.3.83.160 (talk) 11:21, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
