Someone insists Bahati is an activist

Someone is continuously changing Bahati's nomenclature as a homophobic and racist into 'activist'. This is VANDALISM. Bahati is - according to the free worldpress - a homophobic and a racist. He is responsible for the persecution and death of many gays in his country, supported by his corrupted government, led by a dictator. I would call the 'Sufragettes' activists, because they were striving for EQUALITY of men and woman. Bahati strives for the EXCLUSION of many of his OWN people. I would rather copare him to Pol Pot. Not to an activist. That's quite difference. We will observe Bahati from very near and will observe this article for the supporter of Bahati who changes the original text over and over again. Bahati an Activist ?

May I underline that describing Bahati as an activist is erroneous. Bahati is NOT an activist !!!! His goal is to denounce and imprison and/or kill gay people. If "activism" includes "denouncing" and "killing", then the Nazi's were all "activists". He is to be categorised as a Christian religious fanatic with extreme (right) views. David Bahati's Homophobia and Racisme

I think his incurable homophobia and racisme is adequtely referenced and should not be removed. The Disappearing article

An interesting point, when I was looking for information on this guy earlier today I came across a mention of him during a story about a trip to Uganda on the Church in Wales's website (link). Persecution of homosexuals

Someone added this article to Category:Persecution of homosexuals, but looking at the sort of subjects that are in that category I'm not sure it's the right place, so I've removed it again. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 21:13, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

Racism and homophobia

A couple of edits, one without and one with refs have now been added to this page, both referring to homophobia and racism. While The Guardian quotes an individual who accuses the subject of homophobia, there doesn't appear to be a direct mention of racism. Furthermore, although Googling "David Bahati racist" produces results they don't seem to be anything we can use. I've reverted the whole lot for now because it does appear to be coming from one individual with a particular opinion. To accuse one of homophobia is a very controversial move, and I would personally like to see greater coverage of this before it is added, and wider support from the community. So any thoughts? The comments from the Bishop of St David's are completely irrelevant. He's talking about how great it is that people from all over the world have degrees from Cardiff University; he's not saying it's great that David Bahati has a degree from Cardiff University. He could have been talking about anyone from any country in the world, the fact that it was Bahati is immaterial to this article. – PeeJay 11:07, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
