Style

• lead good length for article
• standard of English in some areas not great, done some clean-up as example
• The background section appears to use every synonym of "edition" known to man in describing the contest. Consistency would be appreciated. Replace all the (especially "iteration") with 'contest'.
• Background section written quite well
• "detailed informational text release" - a communique?
  • The sentence that this is in should also be restructured to put 'the details of the set of rules regarding the requirements of potential entrants' before the form of communication. And the time period is ungrammatical here, suggest giving it another sentence to say "The entry period was slated..."
• "his/her" can be 'their'
• Maybe wikilink Cypriot citizenship since it's kind of important
• Wikilink bookmakers
• The description of the performance in the semi-final needs some rewriting.
• Some areas could have improved writing, but not bad enough to absolutely need it; for FA would recommend a copyedit
• The split voting tables don't seem to make sense, very unclear on what they're showing.
• Needs attention Just a few things need looking at

Coverage

• Lead coverage seems good
• Background coverage good except for the mention of pre-2016 selection, which is a few years past and so irrelevant to the background of this article - but given the info on how the votes were planned to happen in 2018, perhaps keeping the info and saying this had been planned to happen in 2018 with a ref
• In "Internal selection", is it important to mention the 2017 artist and result? Did this have some impact on the meetings held? If so, this should be stated - otherwise, irrelevant.
• "Preparation" is to-the-point but seems to cover the details.
• "At Eurovision" top body gives a good overview of the Cypriot contest details
• I think that the explanation of Eurovision voting being so detailed is excessive; a link to the section of the ESC article could be included with a condensed version of the voting format
• Would like some more coverage of Cyprus' voting, even if just "oh damn they didn't vote for Greece"... but I'm sure there's more
• Needs attention Some things need to be done

Illustration

• Tables seem suitable
• One image, in the middle. Are there absolutely no other relevant images (e.g. of composer, Foureira, the various qualifiers and competitions?)
  • There's a whole category of free images to choose from. It's a long article, at least put one in the infobox.

• Has some tabloid sources, would give the sources a check against WP:Perennial sources

• Bit of a dispute in April/June? - recommend keeping it on watch
