Year in title edit

I renamed this page since North Indian storms don't need the year in their titles. NI storm names are used sequentially and once only. Please see Lists of tropical cyclone names#North Indian Ocean -Ramisses (talk) 18:23, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

There's an issue with this, the name is on the list of names for the South Pacific and will be used in the near future. That storm, if it gets an article, will also be called Cyclone Nisha and will create confusion with article titles. Cyclonebiskit 18:59, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Until there (probably next TC year) I personally prefer to keep this article as it is now since are not the same TC basin. -Ramisses (talk) 19:09, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
In that case, if the name Nisha is used in the South Pacific in 2009-2010(or 2010-2011 if the next season is as inactive as this one), will we move this page to Cyclone Nisha (2008)? 76.236.178.224 (talk) 20:34, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yep Jason Rees (talk) 20:57, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Another thing we could do is move the page based on which of the 2 Nishas is more notable. This storm killed 204 and did 800 million in damages. If the South Pacific storm isn't very notable, we could leave this page as Cyclone Nisha. Or we could move this page to Cyclone Nisha (2008) with "Cyclone Nisha" redirecting here, if you agree on this. 76.235.208.170 (talk) 18:03, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

add (2008) edit

The name Nisha is the next name on the south pacific list, but the name Nisha was also used in the 1992-93 south pacific season. I think the article should have had the (2008) before, but I don't think anyone recognized the 1992-93 cyclone. Should the (2008) be added now? 76.29.112.198 (talk) 00:46, 13 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Done - I agree with the IP it should have the year on since the name Nisha has been used morethan once and even if they had retirement in this basin i doubt that Nisha would be a retired name.Jason Rees (talk) 03:15, 13 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wait - should a disambiguation page also be made on this storm, knowing it was used two other times (as of now)?76.29.112.198 (talk) 00:47, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
