TAI edit

TAI is a coordinate time scale used to define UTC. Should we mention that here? Martin Hogbin (talk) 08:43, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

CT vs UTC edit

Is the Coordinate time of JPL Horizons the same discussed here? Can that be discussed if so or not ? 121.247.254.42 (talk) 23:53, 25 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

This article is about the general subject of 'coordinate time'. There are many different coordinate times in use. As far as I can tell the 'coordinate time' used by JPL is based on their own coordinate system. The JPL site says that it is always within 0.002 sec of Terrestrial Time. Introduction? edit

The 'introduction' section below the box isn't an introduction. It reads like a continuation of the opening. The second section below the box is more like an introduction.
