This film does NOT take place in Central City

Whoever keeps adding Central City into this and other entries from the Planet of the Apes films is just plain wrong. Central City is not from the movies--it's from the TV show. This film takes place in California, at the Ape Management Complex. I agree. Nowhere in the movie or any official transcript do they specify the name of the city in Conquest... It's called "The Forbidden City" in Battle... but I doubt that's what it was called before the nuclear holocaust. "Central City" is a name exclusive to the TV series and refers specifically to the Ape's city. However, there's nothing to imply that the Command Post is the same division as Ape Management. Though not specified, I would imagine the Command Post oversees all other executive divisions of the government including Ape Management, Riot Control, etc. 20.132.64.141 (talk) 19:54, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Sculldog

Cleaning up the Paradox Section

The Paradox section reads terribly and needs to be re-organized. Also, it doesn't address the fact that in Zira and Cornelius's interrogation in Escape..., they maintain that an ape named Aldo (not specifically a gorilla) says "No." four hundred years after the plague arrives on Earth. Either that history was also fabricated without them knowing or the birth of Caesar had accelerated the ape revolt by four centuries. Also, there are two apes named Aldo in Conquest...: The chimpanzee being beaten by police in the beginning and the gorilla beating Governor Breck at the end - who presumably becomes General Aldo in Battle.... It should be reflected that these are two seperate apes. In any case, "the class is ended! The schoolroom is closed! This is NOT an alternate history film

Per the wikipedia article on alternate history:

The city where the apes are held is also the same place shown in the original Star Trek series, episode 29 of the first season. The episode was named Operation Inialation

The name of the Star Trek episode is 'Operation -- Annihilate!'. The filming location is noted in the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_--_Annihilate!#Production .
