Citation style edit

@Headhitter, Rjensen, RJFF, Materialscientist, and LoomCreek: (pinging top article editors still active)

It's probably to be expected with an article this old, but over the years, the article has accumulated a variety of citation styles. It's kind of a mess. The article began with a non-templated Harvard style, but it looks like that was the only option at the time.

I propose to make it consistent using CS2 (and Template:Rp when appropriate, such as the Crawford refs). I wanted to solicit feedback first though, in case any of its top editors object. Schazjmd (talk) 18:02, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't have any strong preferences as long as sources are accessible to the reader. Adding the rp template seems like a really good plan. LoomCreek (talk) 18:23, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Good idea. Rjensen (talk) 21:07, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've modified all of the refs to use the same style. I removed items from Bibliography that were used as citations, and renamed the remaining entries in that list to Further reading. One of the old Harvard refs relied on a bibliography entry that had gotten removed somewhere in the intervening years, so that was fun. Hope this makes the article a bit easier to edit and simpler for readers to find the right sources. Schazjmd (talk) 14:17, 21 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
