Why don't we just have blazons of these coats of arms, rather than vague and incomplete "descriptions"? --Daniel C. Boyer 15:02, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Hmmmm... the blazon in the infobox appears to be wrong... reads Or, a fess wavy gules; a lion rampant Gules armed and langued vert bearing a torch sable with a flame gules, but the fess wavy in the illustration is green (vert) not red (gules). Andrewa (talk) 12:37, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Possible Coat of Arms or Seal from 1991-1992

On several coins issued by the People's Republic of Congo from 1991-1992 (KM#s 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12), there is a coat of arms (or a seal?) for which I have not found any information. Since these are coins, the colors are unknown. It appears to be a lion head with mane facing left surrounded by a decorative necklace of some kind that goes over the chief. The chief is has a horizontal chain broken up in the center by a vertical design of a plant perhaps? There is a motto which states: SANG DES HEROS SEMENCE DE LA REVOLUTION.
