DYK edit

@Pigsonthewing:, this article seems very worthy of WP:DYK. I've been aware of the scientific paper that is the subject of this article for awhile (it was something I searched for recently to re-bookmark when I lost a bunch of bookmarks in an upgrade of my work computer). I've never gone through the DYK process myself, but I am very tempted to do so for this article. Since you created the article, I really think you should have the honor of taking it to DYK, but I am thinking about doing so myself if you don't want to bother. @Plantdrew: Be my guest. It might be worth knowing that it has the longest article title on Wikipedia. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 06:18, 16 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Title edit

Admittedly, I am not much of an expert on the topic, but should the title be italicised? So "Cneoridium dumosum (Nuttall) Hooker F. Collected March 26, 1960, at an Elevation of about 1450 Meters on Cerro Quemazón, 15 Miles South of Bahía de Los Angeles, Baja California, México, Apparently for a Southeastward Range Extension of Some 140 Miles. I do kinda agree. It is the name of a certain paper in the article. I suggest making the title italicised. But I would still keep the "Cneoridium dumosum" still italicised because it's a species of plant. MasterWolf0928-Æthelwulf (talk) 15:56, 10 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
It's a minor work, opposed to the major work of the journal itself that would be italicized.
It shouldn't be, and should be addressed in the lede with quotation marks because it's a work that's a piece of an italicized work. Please let me know if that made sense. BhamBoi (talk) 03:10, 22 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
