links edit

Would it maybe be an idea to have links to the movies which the videos are about?--Casvdschee (talk) 17:06, 15 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Misc. Videos edit

I think this is a bit overdue. We've got Cat Videos, Limited Edition T-Shirts, and other things. 75.156.69.71 (talk) 02:26, 25 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

5/1/15 edit

"At times, they will advertise... Scott's upcoming new book The Ables, which will be released on May 1, 2015." the first time I read this page was today, May 1, 2015. Fukyea, b!och3z. 74.104.20.179 (talk) 20:52, 1 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

As of ... many views edit

The article mentions "As of ... CinemaSins has ..." large number of views. The intro and the body have different numbers, but the intro should summarize the article. These should be made consistent, either by simplifying to mention only the peak figures and removing the earlier numbers removed, or by providing a progression of the earlier numbers to indicate the growth rate. -- 109.76.240.210 (talk) 16:31, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

CinemaWins? edit

The existence of this youtube channel has led to someone creating CinemaWins, where they point out everything great about a movie, instead of what's wrong with it. Is this other channel worth mentioning in the article?

Its obviously worth mentioning in the article because if its removed. The redirect from its own page to CinemaSins is pointless and that means CinemaWins will need to have its own independent article 14.203.182.49 (talk) 06:24, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's possible to delete redirects which have become pointless.
The section about CinemaWins only has WP:PRIMARY sources confirming that it exists (YouTube, SocialBlade and an AV Club page which is some kind of listing rather than a review), rather than secondary ones writing about its connection to CinemaSins and that it is "one of the more popular parody channels".
If the section is only being added back because the redirect exists, I'll remove it and put the redirect up for discussion now. Belbury (talk) 09:46, 6 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Since you wrote that, someone added CinemaWins as a spin-off channel. That's incorrect, it was inspired by and created as a response to the subject of the article, but has no actual relation, business or otherwise, with CinemaSins. I'm removing it now. Thank you. I was worried when I read something about CinemaWins being hosted by the same people months ago. The Mo-Ja'al (talk) 06:50, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Though when you type CinemaWins into Wikipedia’s search function it redirects you to CinemaSins. Should we get rid of that or keep it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.200.115.29 (talkcontribs)

Kong Skull Island edit

I thought that I had written this before but it must not have gone through. The director of the movie Kong: Skull Island was extremely publicly critical of CinemaSins in 2017. Is that notable enough to be worthy of inclusion? ~~198.200.115.29 (talk) 20:56, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ah, it’s clear I hadn’t read this page in a while. It has already been updated to address that sorry. ~~. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.200.115.29 (talk) 21:00, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
