Hi, I was just wondering if we should change the infobox to use the television template on all BB articles including UK and Canada? MSalmon (talk) 09:50, 21 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Msalmon: This is actually something that me and @Gonnym: have talked about several times. All the parent series articles should actually use {{Infobox television}} as per MOS:TV as this template can include more information about the program that would be beneficial to the reader. The current sidebars may have been beneficial at one point but now they have outlived their purpose with the existence of {{Infobox television}}. From what I have seen English Wikipedia is the only language with these sidebars except for the Simple English article for Big Brother (U.S. TV series) which is an outdated copy of the en~Wiki article. Even the Big Brother Wiki on Fandom doesn't use these sidebars (which says something). When it comes to the list of housemates/houseguests that the sidebars provide they can be easily replaced by a list like List of Celebrity Big Brother (U.S. TV series) houseguests. Just a heads up it appears that CBS has removed the series from CBS Press Express. The URL that was housing the series page ([1]) now just redirects to a list of CBS shows which no longer include Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. Considering we still have no renewal announcement and as of May "The fate was still uncertain" this may be the beginning of a cancellation. TheDoctorWho(talk) 23:06, 15 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
