From the novel of ROTK, Cao Ren was always sent to defend against the Southern Armies of Wu and Shu. Many times, i'm sure, Cao Ren would fail, but Cao Cao would still allow him to continue his work as the strong arm against Wu and Shu during their first few assaults. If Zhao Yun was the Brave and Zhang Fei the bold at the ChangBan area then Cao Ren would be the brave and bold of the two.--Zhang Liao 04:25, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
