Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital edit

It would be good to mention more about Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital, given that it will be built on what was once Wonderland property. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 02:12, 23 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

I have mentioned it. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 02:57, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
I have made it more obvious. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 03:00, 15 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Oktoberfest and Winterfest edit

Should there be a section for Winterfest? The inaugural Winterfest in Wonderland would begin on November 2019. How about Oktoberfest? Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 00:36, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hey User:Johnny Au, I'm actually working on creating an article on Winterfest. It's my home park, I work there and so will my Sup (she's an Admin) and will be taking a look in my sandbox before it gets published. So it is in the works but because I'm new, I'd like a second set of eyes to go over it and know what they're talking about (her). Thanks! Frasererin01 (talk) 02:08, 12 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
Interesting. Since you are an employee of Canada's Wonderland, please review WP:PLAINSIMPLECOI first. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 14:51, 12 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
It's my home park as well, but I know very well not to include my bias on this article. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 01:17, 19 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Halloween Haunt edit

On the weekend of October 1-3, there have been rumors of a number of deaths at the park during Halloween Haunt. A speaker blew out, which sounded like a gunshot causing a panic. A woman fainted in the washroom and was dragged out, since people were already running because of the noise, she was trampled over. Another person in a wheelchair was pushed out and ran over because of panic. There were no gunshots or stabbings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.221.94.120 (talk) 16:01, 5 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Rumours are rumours and thus shouldn't be added. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 14:03, 27 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Inconsistency with Cedar Point page edit

I've noticed a discrepancy between this page and the Cedar Point page about the number of roller coasters at Cedar Point. The Cedar Point page says the park has 16 coasters, and there's a note saying that that number is excluding Pipe Scream from the list. But, on the Canada's Wonderland page, it says that Cedar Point and Canada's Wonderland are tied for number of roller coasters, with each park having 17. Competing information like this makes it unclear to readers which number is correct, and as such one number should be chosen and used for all pages across Wikipedia. Shudsky (talk) 19:30, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Inconsistency fixed. Canada's Wonderland has 17 roller coasters, Cedar Point has 16 due to the permanent closure of Wicked Twister in September 2021. Canada's Wonderland now has the second-most roller coasters in the world. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 00:15, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
And for future reference, you can always check RCDB.com for the latest count. Their Cedar Point page, for example, does currently show 16 when taking Top Thrill Dragster into account (Pipe Scream is not included in that number, by the way). --GoneIn60 (talk) 17:48, 27 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Six Flags edit

Though Canada's Wonderland's parent company Cedar Fair merged with Six Flags, with the combined company's name being Six Flags, please don't mention Six Flags until this merger is fully complete in the first half of 2024. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 00:28, 3 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
