DVD edit
- On May 8, 2007, MGM Home Video released its first volume of Cagney & Lacey on DVD in DVD Region 1, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the series. Titled Cagney & Lacey: The True Beginning, it begins the premiere of season two (episode seven) when Gless joined the cast as Cagney.
But the infobox says it was just called "Season 1". So was it season one, or season two? Was it called "The True Beginning" or not? There's an inconsistency here. Rojomoke 11:53, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- It is called "True Beginnings." The producers believe that show found it's place when Sharron Gless joined the cast as Christine Cagney. Technically it is season 2 of the show. Brian 13:58, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Does anyone know why later seasons of Cagney & Lacey have not been released on DVD as yet? Epistemological (talk) 14:17, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
"Controversy" is a weasel word? edit
The episodes listed were controversial at the time. I see no reason for the term to be labeled a weasel word. --Davjosmes (talk) 22:49, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

Popular Culture: Burn Notice edit
In the second episode of the first season of Burn Notice (around minute 35), Sam and Fiona pose as two police detectives named Cagney and Lacey. Would that be interesting enough to put in the "In popular culture" section? 78.34.166.140 (talk) 16:33, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
