CANARIE requesting updates to Wikipedia page (July, 2016)Edit

Can you please update the following sections of the CANARIE Wikipedia page with the following information:

Under the "Overview" section please include the following information gathered from (http://www.canarie.ca/network/nren/institutions/)

"As of 2016, institutions connected to the NREN include: • 85 universities, 85 colleges, and 30 CEGEPS • 85 federal government research labs • 46 teaching and research hospitals • 10 business incubators/accelerators • Almost 5,500 K-12 schools • 12 provincial and territorial Regional Advanced Networks (RANs) • 100+ National Research and Education Networks around the world"

Under the "Programs and Services" Section, can you please add the following information under the "Research Software Program" heading, replacing what is currently there. Here is the reference for said information (http://www.canarie.ca/software):

"CANARIE’s Research Software Program funds the development of software tools for research. Software created under CANARIE’s Research Software Program is designed to be modular and re-usable, so once the tools are created, they may be used by many researchers developing project-specific software at no additional cost. Reusable research software tools may be found at science.canarie.ca. These are available for use by any researcher."

Under the "Programs and Services" Section, can you please add the following information under the "Identity and Access Management - Canadian Access Federation (CAF)" heading, replacing what is currently there. Here is the reference for said information (http://www.canarie.ca/identity):

"CAF is a trusted access management environment that provides users Wi-Fi connectivity and content access whether at home or abroad, all using the log-in credentials of their home institution. CANARIE supports guest access to campus WiFi networks through eduroam, an international WiFi roaming federation for education, and remote access to resources for staff, students and faculty through a federated framework."

Under the "Programs and Services" Section, can you please add the following information under the "Digital Accelerator for Innovation and Research - DAIR" heading, replacing what is currently there. Here is the reference for said information (http://www.canarie.ca/cloud ):

"DAIR provides Canadian entrepreneurs and small businesses with free cloud-based compute and storage resources that help speed time to market by enabling rapid and scalable product design, prototyping, validation and demonstration."
